不畏疫情影響，由全球最大青年NGO組織國際青年商會在日本大阪府堺市舉辦為期4天的「2022年亞洲太平洋地區會員代表大會」（簡稱亞太大會），於今（29）日圓滿落幕，台中市政府觀光旅遊局攜手台中市亞哥國際青年商會，突破疫情國境限制，力推台中觀光，為即將鬆綁管制的國際入境旅遊市場預作布局。
觀旅局表示，看準全球旅遊相關產業正逐漸復甦及台日長久友好情誼，與台中市亞哥國際青年商會合作，在日本亞太大會台灣之夜透過實體展覽、日文導覽，及駐員解說等方式，跨國推廣台中觀光景點及特色旅遊。除為停滯近2年的台日觀光帶來嶄新契機，透過此次大會共超過30個國家代表團，6,000名以上國際人士參與，也讓台中的豐富旅遊資源，成功的展示在國際友人面前。各國國境已陸續鬆綁，適逢日本也宣布將放寬旅遊入境限制，重啟國際觀光團入境，相信在挺過這一波疫情後，定能重迎國際入境觀光熱潮。
台中市青年商會指出，國際青年商會104個會員國，共超過16萬名青年會員，世界總會提出「JCI RISE」的目標，希望全球青年在共同面對COVID-19的影響時，能夠維持和重建經濟和勞動力士氣，並與社會各界合作。在此精神下，與觀旅局共同合作，在國際交流之餘，扮演台中觀光大使的任務，顯得格外意義非凡。
