台中市后里區公所9日在后里森林公園微笑廣場舉辦「2022后里戲苑-藝起來看戲」，邀請知名明華園戲劇總團當家小生孫翠鳳領銜主演經典戲曲《劉全進瓜》，高潮迭起的劇情和精彩絢麗的舞台效果，吸引民眾攜家帶眷前往欣賞。市長盧秀燕為感謝明華園戲劇總團帶來精彩演出，今晚將親自出席表達力挺之意。
民政局表示，台中是文化之城，市府相當重視傳統藝術的傳承與推廣，為讓市民就近欣賞優質表演及均衡各區藝文能量，市府團隊持續邀請各傳統藝術團隊來台中演出，達到傳統藝術的扶植與活化。
而「歌仔戲」是台灣的重要文化瑰寶，最能彰顯台灣本土文化與生活語言的特色劇種，感謝明華園歌仔戲致力展演傳承，發揚台灣藝術及本土文化，增進民眾對傳統藝術和信仰文化的認識和興趣。
民政局指出，后里森林公園去年3月開放四口之家以東7.2公頃區域，成為常設性公園，提供民眾休憩、遊樂的自然場域，此次后里公所特別邀請明華園戲劇總團至后里森林公園開演，盼在疫情衝擊下，持續豐沛民眾身心靈，同時提供支持民間傳統工藝、表演藝術和常民文化生活的最佳舞台，凝聚在地居民情感及向心力，感受生活中藝術無所不在的幸福。
